Melanie’s affinity for business was seeded at Brown University, where managed the campus dining facility and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Economics. After graduation, Melanie went on to work in investment banking for Goldman Sachs and then international strategy for American Eagle Outfitters. But it wasn’t long before a love for great food drew her to Dig Inn, where she oversees brand strategy, growth and development.
While her conversations at Dig Inn now revolve more around farms and seasonal produce, her leadership, business acumen, creativity, and innovative spirit have prevailed. A self-proclaimed chapati snob, Melanie’s hometown may be Lyon, France, but her culinary heart lies in India—where she can often be found risking her life for street food and buying artisan textiles.
