Andrew Bahrenburg is the national policy director for the National Young Farmers Coalition (NYFC), leading their policy work at the federal level in Washington, DC. Prior to joining NYFC, Andrew worked for years as a legislative aide in the U.S. House of Representatives before returning to his native Vermont to work on organic vegetable farms, where he helped form and lead the Vermont Young Farmers Coalition, a chapter of NYFC. Andrew has served as an instructor in the University of Vermont's Farmer Training Program and as the organizer & advocate for Rural Vermont. He holds a B.A. in political science from Macalester College.
