Prior to becoming national policy director for the National Young Farmers Coalition, Andrew Bahrenburg worked for years as a legislative aide in the U.S. House of Representatives. He later returned to his native Vermont to work on organic vegetable farms. He's served as an instructor in the University of Vermont's Farmer Training Program and later as the organizer & advocate for Rural Vermont, a non-profit representing family farmers. He holds a B.A. in political science from Macalester College.
