Alchemy in the Kitchen: Making vinegar from food scraps & Salvage Vege Stock

Learn a new skill and how to save money while getting the most nutritional value out your vegetables.  Making your own vinegar and vegetable stock is a great skill and yields a superior product for less money than storebought. And it's a great community building activity that groups in CSAs or gardens can do together.

Nurturing Nursing: A Family Approach To Breastfeeding and Eating

This workshop will introduce parents to inclusive and diverse eating practices for the whole family. The workshop will include lecture, Q&A, and recipe distribution.

Sugar + Salt: The History of Two Spices, Food Preservation and the Human Microbiome

This workshop will be an anthropological exploration of the history of sugar + salt. We will look at their roles in old world food preservation, the industrialized food system, and their impact on our health.
